New York Knicks recently faced off against the San Antonio Spurs, successfully limiting rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama to 14 points, well below his average of 19.4 points per game.
The Knicks secured a 126-105 victory at Madison Square Garden, with Jalen Brunson leading all scorers with 25 points.
After the game, Brunson shared his thoughts on the 19-year-old French phenom.
“That’s a tall dude, a really tall dude,” he said, per Paul Garcia. “He’s going to be great. He’s going to be a very spectacular player. He already is, honestly. I think we [the Knicks] did a good job playing team defense on him tonight, but man, he’s going to be really good.”
