Ja Morant parts ways with agent

The Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant and his agent, Jim Tanner, have ended their professional relationship.

Tanner had been Morant’s representative since Morant departed from Murray State in 2019 and was drafted as the No. 2 overall pick.

During their collaboration, Tanner negotiated Morant’s lucrative five-year, $197 million contract in 2022.
