Apparently, Zach LaVine has been gaining favoritism around the Dallas Mavericks.
According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN (h/t RealGM), the Chicago Bulls star has plenty of fans around the Mavs franchise – which suggests their interest in him.
“I just know that there are fans of him that hold prominent positions within the Mavericks,” said Tim MacMahon on the Lowe Post podcast. “Again, I’m not sitting here and telling you there’s some great consensus. I think there’s enough fans of him where I wouldn’t totally rule it out.”
With the Bulls struggling to keep up yet in the Eastern Conference competition, rumors persist that a fire sale could happen soon. As such, the Mavs could potentially be on the move if they intend to give Luka Doncic his best partner on court.
LaVine inked a five-year, $215 million contract with Chicago last offseason. While this deal serves as a proof of willed partnership for both sides moving forward, it only falls down if the Bulls will finally pull the trigger eventually.
