The Miami Heat have announced that Jimmy Butler will miss the fifth game of their first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night due to inflammation in his right knee.
Butler has led the Heat in scoring through the playoffs, averaging 30.5 points a night. Only Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has been scoring more, with an average of 31.3 points per game.
The Heat lead the series 3-1 and will hope to close it out at home in Butler’s absence.
