The Atlanta Hawks continue to monitor the trade market, but reports of an imminent trade appear to have quieted following a string of strong play.
“They remain active in trade talks, but don’t appear to feel the same urgency to do something as they did two weeks ago, sources say,” wrote Zach Lowe.
Based on multiple reports last month, the Hawks appeared to be strongly considering a trade of John Collins. The Hawks also traded away Cam Reddish to the New York Knicks, who was seeking a fresh start elsewhere.
Travis Schlenk also openly questioned whether he made a mistake in retaining the Atlanta core that reached the Eastern Conference Finals.
