The hits keep coming for the Memphis Grizzlies. After losing Ja Morant for the season early in the week, Memphis lost Marcus Smart to a long-term finger injury. If that wasn’t enough, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. both picked up injuries in the Grizzlies loss to the LA Clippers on Friday.
That left Memphis with just nine healthy players for their game on Saturday against the New York Knicks. Unfortunately, Jake LaRavia left that game with an injury after playing only 1:19.
The Grizzlies are now down to eight healthy players: Jacob Gilyard, G.G. Jackson, Luke Kennard, John Konchar, David Roddy, Xavier Tillman Sr., Ziaire Williams and Vince Williams Jr.
Memphis next plays on Monday, when they host the Golden State Warriors.
