This year Giannis Antetokounmpo became an NBA All-Star for the sixth time in his career. But according to him, the type of basketball that is played during the All-Star Games is not for him.

The Greek Freak is used to giving his best effort on both ends of the floor while All-Star Games are all about showing off. Antetokounmpo admitted that he feels terrible when he has to walk instead of going full speed.

Via Joe Vardon of The Athletic:

“All-Star Games, they are not built for me,” Giannis said. “Obviously, I come out here and try to enjoy the game as much as possible, but I don’t know how not to go hard. I kind of feel terrible when I’m walking around because I always try to go full speed no matter what I do because that’s how — what type of player I am.”
