Fred VanVleet has one guaranteed season left on his contract with the Houston Rockets, with the team holding a $44.9 million option for the 2025-26 season.
However, VanVleet has made it clear that he intends to be a long-term piece for the franchise, seeing Houston as more than just a temporary stop in his career.
