The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating a top four team in the Western Conference, the Utah Jazz (101-95).
Even though their opponents have one of the best offenses in the entire league, the purple and gold were able to limit them to less than a hundred points which was a step forward after allowing the Denver Nuggets to score 137 in previous game.
Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was happy with his team’s energy in the Utah game. “Very encouraged,” he said postgame. “It’s been what is commanded of our guys. It hasn’t shown up the last couple games, we’ve all been disappointed, we’ve all been called out and coached hard on it and it finally came around.”
