Four Warriors players are out for the season opener vs the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Tuesday.
Newly-acquired Jeff Dowtin is not with the team yet, while Jonathan Kuminga is out with a right knee injury. He is dealing with a patellar tendon strain.
On the other hand, Klay Thompson is recovering from an Achilles tendon injury and he will miss another month or two. Similarly, James Wiseman will most likely return in December, as he is recovering from a meniscus tear in his right knee.
For their part, the Lakers are also dealing with issues, with three players being out. Meanwhile, Kendrick Nunn is questionable and Malik Monk probable for the game.
The 2021/22 NBA season tips off on Tuesday with two games. Aside from the Warriors vs Lakers clash, the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks will collide with the Brooklyn Nets at Fiserv Forum.
