Filip Petrusev is set to sign a three-year deal with Olympiacos in Greece. Petrusev was recently waived by the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento had acquired Petrusev from the LA Clippers, who had acquired him as part of the deal for James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Gonzaga product’s deal in Greece reportedly includes NBA outs. There is also a release clause after the 2024-25 season in the contract.
Petrusev was drafted by the Sixers in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft. He appeared in one game for Philadelphia and two games for Sacramento before being waived.
The 6-foot-11 center will now return to Europe with Olympiacos. Petrusev has previously played for clubs in Serbia and Turkey in his three-year professional career.
