The Dallas Mavericks added point guard Facundo Campazzo to their roster right at the end of the preseason. Campazzo hasn’t played in either of the Mavs’ first two games because of a visa issue.
Dallas coach Jason Kidd said they hope to have Campazzo active and available by the team’s next game on Tuesday. The Argentina native is having his visa recalibrated to allow him to continue to work in the United States.
Campazzo joined the Mavericks after two seasons with the Denver Nuggets. The 5-foot-11 guard is expected to help Dallas replace some of the depth they lost at point guard over the summer.
