Vitor Oladipo had to be carried off the court after suffering a scary knee injury during Game 3 of the first round series between the Heat and Bucks.
The 30-year-old shooting guard scored 8 points in 19 minutes of play before the injury late in the fourth quarter.
Miami’s head coach Erik Spoelstra used strong words to describe his emotions in response to Oladipo’s injury.
“Once the stretcher was out there, he was like, ‘I’m not getting on that thing,’” he said, via Tim Reynolds of Associated Press. “So, we’ll just have to see. I feel like throwing up right now, but I don’t know what the prognosis is. I’m going to stay positive and we’ll just see what happens after we scan him tomorrow.”
The Heat ended up winning the game convincingly (121-99) and are now leading the series 2-1.
