Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Green was placed in the protocols one day after helping the Warriors to a Christmas Day victory over the Phoenix Suns.
The Warriors All-Star will now miss at least 10 days, unless he’s able to produce two negative tests at least 24 hours apart. The NBA and NBPA are currently negotiating to reduce the time in the protocols from 10 days to six for players who are asymptomatic and vaccinated.
Green has had a bounce-back season for Golden State. He’s been a key part of their defense and offense, as the Warriors have put together a league-best 27-6 record.
