The Suns were decimated by the Celtics (125-98). The game between the top teams in the Western and Eastern conferences was a total disaster for Phoenix. Boston held a massive 41-point lead late in the third quarter.
Devin Booker, who was the second top scorer for the losers with 17 points in 25 minutes of play, said the loss felt like it should count as two losses.
“We have a long flight to New Orleans tomorrow, we’ll have to regroup and think about it. It feels that game should count for two losses, but good thing it’s only still one,” Booker said, per HoopsHype on Twitter.
