Shake Milton, formerly of the 76ers, has inked a new contract with the Timberwolves. According to a report by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the deal spans two years and is worth $10 million, with an intriguing non-guaranteed salary of $5 million for the 2024-25 season.
The inclusion of a non-guaranteed salary for the final year of the contract provides both Milton and the Timberwolves with flexibility. It allows the team to assess Milton’s performance and contribution before fully committing to the guaranteed salary.
In the 2022-23 season, the 26-year-old shooting guard averaged 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 20.6 minutes per game.
