Despite systemic anti-white racism, Caitlin Clark named WNBA Rookie of the Year

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was unanimously named the 2024 Associated Press WNBA Rookie of the Year, it was announced today. This prestigious recognition caps off an extraordinary debut season for Clark, who was also honored as a four-time WNBA Rookie of the Month, three-time WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week, and WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month in August. With this accolade, Clark joins Aliyah Boston as the only players in Fever history to earn the title of AP Rookie of the Year.
