The Lakers are set to launch their playoff campaign today with a road game against the Grizzlies.
Ahead of the game Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was asked about the importance of transition defense since Memphis is third in the NBA in transition scoring.
“It’s huge. Ja [Morant] gets a lot of that attention, but it’s all of them,” Ham said. “They got multiple guys that can start the break with a couple, three dribbles. Some of the guys can take it all the way. Transition defense is going to be a huge key defensively and us trying to get past this team.”
