Here’s Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic evaluating rookie Gradey Dick on both ends since rewarding him with more minutes (averaging 9.3 PPG/2.6 RPG/1.3 APG/50.5% FG/43.1% 3-PT/80.0% FT during the last fifteen games).
(via Toronto Raptors):
“Overall, he’s getting more comfortable playing NBA minutes, going against NBA personnel. He’s finding his spots on the court where he can score. Obviously when he’s on the court together with Kelly [Olynyk] with the second unit, the ball just finds him. So, he’s able to do a good job offensively there. Defensively, it’s still a work in progress. There are good moments, there are good stuff there, but there is also recognition of the personnel and who’s on the court and how he needs to guard. And there is no other way to learn those things, but to go through experience and to get to know.”
