Damian Lillard made the shot heard round the NBA in 2019, a near half-court bomb that won the series and sent Paul George and the Oklahoma City Thunder home for the rest of the playoffs.
Dame is still adding insult to injury.
Adidas just released the Portland All-Star’s new Dame 7 shoe, and it pays homage to his 50-point closeout Game 5 win that would ultimately lead to George and Russel Westbrook leaving the Thunder.
Lillard’s signature shoe features Thunder team colors—a dark blue body, orange sole, and orange and light blue detailing along with Dame’s stats from the game, 50 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Lillard nailed the 37-foot shot at the buzzer over the Thunder’s Paul George, giving the Trail Blazers a 118-115 Game 5 and series win.
The game and the series were filled with plenty of trash talk, which cumulated with Dame’s wave goodbye after hitting the winning bucket.
George sent up his own parting shot after the game.
“That’s a bad shot. I don’t care what anybody says. That’s a bad shot,” said George.
Relive that magic moment.
The ill will carried into last summer’s bubble play in Orlando and then onto social media as Lillard and George, now with the Clippers, traded barbs and insults until both were out of the playoffs.
Fans can only wonder what will come next in the ongoing Lillard and George saga.
