Damian Lillard tops Shaq, Marvin Bagley on list of best NBA rappers originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest
When Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard isn’t crossing over defenders on the NBA court, he is gaining fame off the court for his tracks as Dame D.O.L.L.A.

Damian Lillard is the best rapper in the NBA, but here’s another list to prove it.
USA Today’s For the Win recently came out with a definitive list of the NBA’s best rappers from best to unplayable. No surprise here, but Dame D.O.L.L.A topped the list.
“Y’all knew Dame Dolla would be at the top of this list. He’s just that good and he knows it too. Others have tried to come for his crown over the years — looking at you, Shaq and Marvin Bagley — but nobody has been able to remove it,” For the Win’s Mike D. Sykes, II said.
“He’s got it all. Bars, flow, stage presence. This joint with Jeremih is an absolute banger…
Bruh is legitimately good. And he’s got three whole albums and a Lil Wayne feature to prove it.

The All-Star point guard leaped into rap royalty since releasing his first full-length single “Soldier in the Game,” in 2015.
Since then, the five-time NBA All-Star, who goes by D.O.L.L.A which stands for Different on Levels the Lord Allows, had dropped albums “The Letter O,” in October 2016 and “Confirmed,” followed a year later. His most successful album today, “Big D.O.L.L.A,” featured artists like Lil Wayne and Mozzy.
