Collin Sexton will be paid $16.5 million in the first season of his new four-year, $72 million deal, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN.
Sexton will receive a 5% increase each season and will earn $18.975 million in the final year of his deal.
The deal includes a fully guaranteed $70.95 million.
The contract could increase to $72.95 million with bonuses, though Marks adds that Sexton’s $500,000 bonus for this season is “unlikely.”
Several outlets reported that the Cavs were not going to offer Sexton a significant long-term deal before his trade to Utah.
