The Cleveland Cavaliers plan to sign veteran guard Denzel Valentine to a two-year, partially guaranteed deal, per a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Valentine, 27, was selected 14th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.
Through four seasons in the league, Valentine has averaged 7.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists on 39% shooting from the field and 36% shooting from three.
Last season, Valentine played just 17 minutes per game.
The Cavaliers have a definite need for a guard with size to back-up Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, and Ricky Rubio.
Valentine will likely compete for minutes with 2019 first round pick Dylan Windler.
