Ex-Toronto Raptors center Christian Koloko is facing a potential career setback due to a blood clot problem, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The NBA has informed teams that Koloko has been directed to the Fitness-to-Play Panel, indicating that he cannot participate in league activities such as playing or practicing until he receives clearance.
The Raptors released Koloko the day after the Pascal Siakam trade, and Charania notes that several teams had expressed interest in acquiring him before this issue arose.
