Christian Koloko has been dealing with a blood clot issue that is threatening his NBA career, sources told Shams Charania and Eric Koreen of The Athletic.
The Raptors waived Koloko as part of the Pascal Siakam trade. Koloko has yet to appear in a game this season.
Teams were informed that Koloko has been referred to the league’s Fitness-to-Play Panel.
Koloko is not eligible to practice or play until he’s medically cleared.
Several teams around the league expressed interest in Koloko.
