While appearing on The Colin Cowherd Podcast, the former Sacramento Kings forward Chris Webber talked about the Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis, via Hoops Wire:
“I felt that he could be that missing piece for someone else. I don’t know what he’s proven (as the lone star),” Webber said after Cowherd brought up the idea of Davis becoming the Lakers’ go-to guy, ahead of LeBron James.
“He’s a wonderful talent, and he hit some big shots for LeBron,” Webber added. “I get that. But we’re talking about him being the alpha, and I don’t know when that’s worked.”
