Chris Paul sat the Phoenix Suns’ 129-117 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves due to right heel soreness.
Paul also played just 14 minutes in Monday’s loss against the Sixers.
Monty Williams said that the team was resting Paul out of caution.
“Chris has pain like six, seven on a scale of 10, he plays. It’s about us protecting him from himself. It’s also a way to give his body some rest,” said Williams.
Cameron Payne, starting in Paul’s place, finished the game with 23 points.
