The Milwaukee Bucks will march to Boston for a marquee Christmas Day brawl with the Celtics (h/t Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn). This marks the second-straight year that both teams will face on the said special day.
Following a nail-biting seven-game, second-round series between both sides, fans can never ask for a much more exciting duel on Christmas Day than the Bucks and Celtics will offer.
These two title powerhouses are slated for a rematch dating back to their previous encounter last postseason, wherein the Cs prevailed to oust the eventual champs in throne. The club went deeper and nailed an NBA Finals seat, but came up short against the Golden State Warriors.
Milwaukee emerged victorious against Boston on their last year’s X-mas duel, 117-113, behind Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 36 point-15 board double-double.
