The Chicago Bulls have proposed a trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers, centered around exchanging Zach LaVine for Darius Garland, as reported by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
During the offseason, the Bulls started exploring potential trades for LaVine and are aiming for a package that includes an established starter, a promising young player, and first-round draft picks if they are unable to secure a deal for another star.
Garland is under contract with the Cavaliers until 2028, while the future of Donovan Mitchell with the team is uncertain.
Acquiring LaVine would add size to the Cleveland backcourt, despite his older age and a larger contract.
