The Dallas Mavericks announced today they have requested waivers on veteran big man JaVale McGee.
McGee joined the Dallas team on July 9, 2022, after becoming a free agent. During the previous season, he played 42 games for the Mavericks, starting in 7 of them, and achieved an average of 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds.
