Bob Myers On Extending Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins: ‘We Want All Those Guys’

Bob Myers expressed his desire of extending the contracts of Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins, though was realistic about the team’s salary cap situation.

“We want all of those guys. Can we get all of them? I don’t know. It depends on what the money ends up being. What the ask is what we can end up doing. We’re not at a point to make those decisions yet.

“Some of these decisions may be made in the next two weeks, some might be made in the next seven, eight months,” said Myers on Thursday.

Poole can sign a rookie extension until October 17, with Wiggins set to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. Green has a player option for the 2023-24 season.

Myers said that he will meet with Poole’s representatives once the team gets back from Japan. He also added that he met with Green and Wiggins’ representatives but nothing came from those conversations.

The Warriors paid around $346 million in salary and luxury taxes last season, becoming the most expensive team in NBA history.
