Ben Simmons received an epidural injection to aid in the recovery of his lower back injury, the Brooklyn Nets announced on Saturday.
Simmons will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Simmons is averaging 6.5 points, 6.7 assists, and 10.8 rebounds in 6 games this season.
