While Ben Simmons is ruled for Game 1 of the Nets’ the first round against the Celtics, he could still play in the series. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the 25-year-old point guard could make his Brooklyn debut as early as Game 3.
“There’s growing optimism that Ben Simmons could make his Nets and season debut as early as Game 3 against Boston, at Barclays Center next Saturday,” Fischer reported.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Nets plan to have Simmons join teammates on the practice floor this coming week as he ramps up his return to playing.
