Pierre Oriola
Newly promoted MoraBanc Andorra (Liga Endesa) landed 30-year old former Spaniard international 208cm power forward Pierre Oriola, agency: Octagon Europe for upcoming season. Oriola played most recently at AEK Athens in Greek GBL league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 8 GBL games he averaged 5.8ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3apg. Oriola also played 6 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 5.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0spg. The other team he played shortly was Basquet Girona in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 7 games he recorded just 2.7ppg and 3.0rpg.
He was also a member of Spanish international program for some years. Oriola played for Spanish Senior National Team between 2017 and 2019 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2012.
He represented Spain at the World Cup in China four years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 8 games: 3.4ppg, 3.6rpg.
Oriola has played previously for six other Spanish teams: Barca, Valencia, Huesca, Manresa, Real Betis and Lleida.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Honorable Mention back in 2014.
