FC Barcelona Lassa (Liga Endesa) signed 28-year old international guard Dario Brizuela (188cm-1994) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Brizuela was about to sign at Unicaja. He has played there for the last five years.
Brizuela has been also a member of Spanish international program for some years. He has regularly played for Spanish senior team since 2018 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2013.
Brizuela represented Spain at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) nine years ago. Brizuela’s team won Silver and his stats at that event were 10 games: 7.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.9apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 40.4%, 3PT: 22.6%, FT: 83.3%.
He has played previously for two other teams: Estudiantes and Huesca. His team made it to the Liga Endesa Semifinals in 2023. Brizuela was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Domestic Players Team in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
