Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 29-year old Senegalese-Spanish ex-international center Moussa Diagne (211cm-103kg-1994) for new 2023-24 season. Diagne played last season at Lenovo Tenerife (Liga Endesa). In 29 games he had 3.2ppg and 2.6rpg. He helped them to make it to the Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey) final. Diagne also played 13 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded just 1.5ppg and 1.2rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
Diagne’s team won InterContinental Cup in 2023.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at MoraBanc Andorra. In 31 Liga Endesa games he averaged 4.8ppg and 3.5rpg in that year. Diagne also played 18 games in Eurocup where he got 5.2ppg and 4.4rpg in that year. He was a member of Senegalese Senior National Team between 2016 and 2020.
Diagne has played previously for five other teams: Barca, Fuenlabrada, Viten Getafe Fuenlabrada Madrid, Avila and Torrejon.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. Diagne’s team won InterContinental Cup in 2023.
