Dejan Davidovac
Defending champion KK Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) agreed terms with 28-year old Serbian international small forward Dejan Davidovac (202cm-1995) for new 2023-24 season. It is actually his comeback to Beograd as he has played here before. Davidovac played last season at PBC CSKA Moscow in Russian VTB United League. In 47 games he had 7.1ppg and 3.6rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
Davidovac was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention back in 2015 and 2018.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at KK Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Beograd in Serbian KLS. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 5 Serbian KLS games he recorded just 2.0ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.4apg in that year. Davidovac’s team won the league title. He also played 28 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.0ppg and 3.3rpg in that year. Davidovac also played 30 games in ABA League where he got 6.9ppg and 3.2rpg in that year.
He has been also a member of Serbian international program for some years. Davidovac has regularly played for Serbian senior team since 2021 and previously for U18 National Team in 2013.
He represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) eight years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 10 games: 8.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.1apg, 1.2spg, FGP-3 (67.9%), 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 71.4%.
Davidovac has played previously for two other Serbian teams: Vrsac and KK FMP Meridian Beograd. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention back in 2015 and 2018.
