Tony Taylor

Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old 184cm point guard Tony Taylor (college: GWU) for upcoming season. Taylor played most recently at Turk Telekom (BSL). In 36 games he recorded 14.4ppg, 2.2rpg and 4.0apg last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Taylor also played 21 games in Eurocup where he averaged 12.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.5apg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Pinar Karsiyaka. In 33 BSL games he had 11.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.3apg in that year. He also played 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 8.2ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.1apg in that year.
In 2012 he was drafted by Tulsa 66ers (D-League) in second round (32nd overall).
Taylor graduated from George Washington University and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Taylor is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Italy (Virtus Segafredo Bologna), Poland (PGE Turow), Russia (Enisey), NBA G League (OKC Blue) and The Basketball Tournament (Overseas Elite).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Honorable Mention back in 2019.
