Okapi Aalst (BNXT League) cut experienced 57-year old coach Yves Defraigne.
Defraigne has coached previously also in Germany (Gladiators) and Belgium (Kangoeroes and Belfius Mons Hainaut).
Among many awards his team made it to the Belgian Cup Final Four in 2002, 2007, 2013 and 2021.
Assistant coach Thomas Crab takes over as head-coach for the rest of he season.
