Gaiteros de Zulia (SPB) added to their roster 30-year old American forward Myke Henry (198cm-108kg-1992, college: DePaul). He moved there from Astoria in Polish EBL league. In 21 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.2apg and 1.7spg last season. He also played for Givova Scafati Basket in Italian Serie A where in four EBL games he averaged 9.5ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.8apg.
Henry is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Iraklis), Israel (Ironi Nahariya), Mexico (Rayos de Henryrmosillo), Italy (Trieste), NBA (Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (OKC Blue and Memphis Hustle).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won D-League Southwest Division championship title in 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Henry graduated from De Paul University in 2016 and it is his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for University of Illinois for 2 years.
