The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Zlatibor on the court of OKK Beograd on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by OKK Beograd 91-76. OKK Beograd forced 20 Zlatibor turnovers. Croatian forward Andrija Jelavic (207-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Canadian guard Stefan Miljenovic (190-2001, college: Slippery Rock) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Nikola Gacesa (205-1987, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Nikola Pesakovic contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Vojvodina NS’s coach Milos Isakov-Kovacevic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Uros Lukovic (213-1989) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for Metalac VL. Vojvodina NS will play against Mega BG in Beograd in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Metalac VL will play at home against Borac CA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
