American center Larry Slaughter (203-1992, college: Montevallo) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized French guard Diego Roman (185-2005) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Morges-Saint-Prex players scored in double figures. Forward Mario Gull (195-1998) replied with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Nicolas Hulliger (194-2001) added 13 points in the effort for GC Zurich. GC Zurich’s coach Luka Stiplosek rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help.

Point guard Jamal George (194-2002) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Portuguese forward Joao Grosso (196-1994) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. French guard Alois Leyrolles (190-2004) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and Serbian center Petar Tomic (208-2002) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
