Partizan stepped closer to Euroleague Final Four as they shocked Real in Madrid for the second straight road win in the quarterfinal series. Dante Exum (198-G-1995) came up with 19 points to lead the Serbian powerhouse.
Partizan drained 31 points in the first period to open a 10-point lead. They stayed in charge throughout the second quarter taking a 51-37 halftime advantage. Partizan did not loosen the grasp in the third term. They built a 75-62 lead at the final break and never looked back en route to the victory. The game got suspended with under two minutes remaining in regulation following a scirmish between the sides following a foul from Sergio Lull on Kevin Punter. Zach LeDay (202-F/C-1994, college: Virginia Tech) tossed in 14 points for Partizan. Mario Hezonja (202-SF-1995) and Rudy Fernandez (196-SF-1985, agency: Octagon Europe) provided 16 points each for Real Madrid.
