The most exciting game of round 22 in the JLS took place in Cacak. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Crvena Zvezda (16-6) to second ranked Borac Cacak (19-3) 71-70 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Crvena Zvezda. Borac Cacak dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Crvena Zvezda’s 26. Strangely Crvena Zvezda outrebounded Borac Cacak 39-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Guard Djordje Curcic-M (194-2005) fired 21 points for the winners. Guard Matija Milosevic (193-2005) chipped in 11 points. Center Lazar Gacic (212-2005) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Borac Cacak have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 19-3 record having just two points less than leader Mega SM. Crvena Zvezda at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Beograd: Dynamic BG (#4) and Zitko Basket (#6). Zitko Basket was defeated at home 90-102 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ognjen Romic (205-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Aleksa Ristic contributed with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Marko Djordjevic (193-2004) replied with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for Zitko Basket. Zitko Basket’s coach Lazar Vukoslavcevic rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help. Dynamic BG (14-7) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position. Newly promoted Zitko Basket dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost.
Bottom-ranked Konstantin Nis managed to get a second victory, breaking the six-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Sloboda U. 88-83. Luka Draskovic had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Bojan Dulovic responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Konstantin Nis maintains twelfth position with 2-20 record. Sloboda U. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 19 games lost.
Rest of the games of round 22 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Mega SM defeated Partizan BG in Sremska Mitrovica 90-85. Joker S. beat Radnicki KG at home 85-84. Spartak won against Vojvodina NS on the opponent’s court 98-93.
The best stats of 22th round was 26 points and 8 assists by Martin Burda of Spartak.

Zitko Basket – Dynamic BG 90-102
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Beograd: Dynamic BG (#4) and Zitko Basket (#6). Zitko Basket was defeated at home 90-102 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It was a great shooting night for Dynamic BG especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Zitko Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ognjen Romic (205-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Aleksa Ristic (193-2005) contributed with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Dynamic BG players scored in double figures. Swingman Marko Djordjevic (193-2004) replied with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (204-2004) added 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Zitko Basket. Partizan BG – Mega SM 85-90
There was no surprise in Beograd where 5th ranked Partizan BG (10-11) was defeated by first ranked Mega SM (21-1) 90-85 on Sunday. Mega SM made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mega SM made 7 blocks. Forward Bogoljub Markovic (204-2005) scored 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Slovenian forward Urban Kroflic (197-2006) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) during the contest. At the losing side power forward Stefan Plisnic (207-2006) responded with 29 points and 6 rebounds and guard Savo Drezgic (187-2006) scored 21 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-1 record. Loser Partizan BG dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost.

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Sombor where ninth ranked Joker S. (9-13) edged 8th ranked Radnicki KG (9-13) 85-84 on Sunday. Joker S. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Radnicki KG’s 32. Matija Kustudic (-2004) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Aleksa Stanojevic (-2006) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Joker S.’s coach Blagoja Ivic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Predrag Panisic (-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Ognjen Petkovic (-2004) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Martin Burda (180-2005) scored 26 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Marko Sarenac (207-2004) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Vuk Kovijanic (-2004) responded with 19 points and 8 assists and Milan Pokrajac (-2004) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Vojvodina NS players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Spartak moved-up to fifth place. Loser Vojvodina NS keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost.
