28-year old Mihajlo Andric (201-SF-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Andorra and receives a Hoops Agents LEB Gold Player of the Week award for round 28.
He had the game-high 19 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Andorra in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Melilla (#18, 6-22) 92-82. Andorra maintains the 2nd position in Spanish LEB Gold. They are still close to the very top. Andorra would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 25-4 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Andric as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Mihajlo Andric averages this season 10.6ppg.
Second best performed player last round was Barra Njie (191-PG-2001) of Iraurgi SB. He is Swedish guard in his first season at Iraurgi SB. In the last game Njie recorded impressive 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Iraurgi SB to edge slightly lower-ranked Albacete (#17, 6-22) by 5 points 79-74. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Iraurgi SB managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 16th place. 21 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Iraurgi SB managed to get this year. Njie is a newcomer at Iraurgi SB and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Eric Stutz (203-F-1992) of Castello (#10). Stutz scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Castello, leading his team to a 87-86 win against the higher-ranked Estudiantes (#4, 18-10). Castello needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 14 lost games. Stutz has a great season in Spain. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 16.9ppg (3rd best). He also has FGP: 55.3% and 3PT: 43.6%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
