Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Borisfen (22-6) in Mogilev on Friday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Tsmoki II (13-16) 67-65. Tsmoki II forced 24 Borisfen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nazar Guliev (201-2002) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Artem Sekushenko (195-2001) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American forward Darrious Agnew (203-1999, college: Alcorn St.) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Borisfen. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tsmoki II maintains fourth place with 13-16 record. Borisfen at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with Grodno.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Minsk: Tsmoki II (#4) and Impuls BGUIR (#5). Impuls BGUIR was defeated at home 64-69 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Roman Scherbakov (185-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Aliaksei Navoichyk helped adding 16 points. At the losing side point guard Mikita Dashkevich (178-2001) responded with 27 points. Tsmoki II maintains fourth place with 13-16 record. Impuls BGUIR at the other side keeps the fifth position with 19 games lost.
The game in Brest was also quite interesting. Third ranked SDUSHOR (13-11) played at the court of 5th ranked Brest (11-14). SDUSHOR managed to secure a 7-point victory 80-73 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for Kirill Barancheev who led the winners and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Vladislav Lagodich came up with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals for Brest in the defeat. Brest’s coach Eduard Vasiliuk rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. SDUSHOR maintains third place with 13-11 record having thirteen points less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk U20. Brest lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost.

Impuls BGUIR – Tsmoki II 64-69

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Minsk: Tsmoki II (#4) and Impuls BGUIR (#5). Impuls BGUIR was defeated at home 64-69 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Tsmoki II forced 21 Impuls BGUIR turnovers. Impuls BGUIR was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Roman Scherbakov (185-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Guard Aliaksei Navoichyk (190-2001) helped adding 16 points. Brest – SDUSHOR 73-80

The game in Brest was also quite interesting. Third ranked SDUSHOR (13-11) played at the court of 5th ranked Brest (11-14). SDUSHOR managed to secure a 7-point victory 80-73 on Wednesday. SDUSHOR made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Brest turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Kirill Barancheev (-2006) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Vitali Duchko (-2006) accounted for 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four SDUSHOR players scored in double figures. Guard Vladislav Lagodich (180-2002) came up with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals and center Gleb Bigun (204-2004) added 15 points and 16 rebounds respectively for Brest in the defeat. Brest’s coach Eduard Vasiliuk rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. SDUSHOR maintains third place with 13-11 record having thirteen points less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk U20.
