The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dubrovnik (23-2) in Kastela Sucurac on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Kastela (19-6) 71-57. It was a great evening for forward Roko Galic (196-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Mateo Kedzo (205-1984) helped adding 12 points. The best for the losing side was American point guard Javon Levi (180-1998, college: UT Arlington, agency: Haylett Sports) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. It was an exceptional evening for center Marin Djugum (201-1996) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 19 rebounds. Filip Gustovarac accounted for 15 points and 7 assists. Stoja Pula’s coach Vladimir Korosec allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Hrvoje Puljko (193-1983) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds for Samobor in the defeat. Stoja Pula will again play against Samobor (#11) on the road in the next round. Samobor will have a break next round.
H.Analitica (12-13) crushed at home Sonik P. (1-24) by 36 points 128-92, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was Nikola Ivankovic who scored 29 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was Borna Jurela who recorded 13 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. H.Analitica will again meet Sonik P. (#12) in the next round. Sonik P. will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Zagreb was destroyed by Kvarner 2010 on the opponent’s court 88-67. Osijek outscored Omis-Cagalj T. in a home game 83-53. Jazine managed to beat Mladost on the road 107-100.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Zagreb‘s (13-12) road loss to Kvarner 2010 (16-9) 67-88 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Ivan Kucan (195-1996) who scored 26 points and 4 assists. Center Danijel Zovko (203-1994) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds. Rather predictable result when Osijek (19-6) smashed at home Omis-Cagalj T. (11-14) 83-53 on Saturday. Osijek dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Omis-Cagalj T.’s 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Omis-Cagalj T.’s players. The best player for the winners was forward Roko Lukic (195-2005, agency: AltusBasket) who scored 21 points and 9 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Michael Ruzic (206-2006) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Luka Mrsic (193-2002) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Petar Ogrizovic (182-1999) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Mladost’s coach Andjelko Matov rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help.
