Talented Nikola Topic (198-G-2005) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league’s leader Crvena Zvezda and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award.
The 17-year old guard had the game-high 31 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Crvena Zvezda in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Valencia (#3, 0-2) 84-71. In the team’s last game Topic had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Crvena Zvezda’s top player in his first season with the team.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young guard Savo Drezgic (187-G-2006) of Partizan BG. Drezgic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Partizan BG lost that game 64-73 to NGTB (#2, 2-0). Drezgic is a newcomer at Partizan BG and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders.
The third best performed player last round was Bogoljub Markovic (204-F-2005) of top-ranked Mega BG. Markovic scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Mega BG, leading his team to a 103-58 easy win against Venice U18.

7. Filip Jovic (204-F-2005) of Mega BG – 20 points
8. Maxim Logue (203-F-2005) of PFYM INSEP – 11 points and 8 rebounds
9. Nikas Stuknys (194-G-2005) of NGTB – 6 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Pavle Misic (208-C-2005) of Crvena Zvezda – 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
