Guard Arnas Strikulys (188-G-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for Panevezio, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 17-year old player had a double-double of 47 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Perkunas (#9, 4-13) with 44-point margin 126-82. Panevezio maintains the 8th position in Lithuanian U18 League. Panevezio is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-9 record. Strikulys turned to be Panevezio’s top player in his first season with the team. Arnas Strikulys has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (5th best: 23.9ppg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg,3.5spg and 59.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round’s games was another Panevezio’s star – young Nikas Stuknys (194-G-2005). Stuknys had a very good evening with a triple-double of 35 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists. Of course together with Strikulys he helped Panevezio with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Perkunas (#9, 4-13) 126-82. Panevezio’s 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 8-9 record. Stuknys is a newcomer at Panevezio, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Titas Pundinas (175-PG-2005) of VKM (#4). Pundinas showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the last round. Despite Pundinas’ great performance VKM lost 78-80 to #2 ranked SKM I. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing VKM needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 5 lost games. Pundinas has a great season in Lithuania. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in assists with 5.9apg (7th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
