Spartak made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Dynamic BG turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. 24 personal fouls committed by Dynamic BG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Dusan Cicic (191-2004) fired 30 points and 4 steals for the winners. point guard Martin Burda (180-2005) chipped in 25 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Spartak’s coach Vranes Zoran used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Vukasin Bubanja (192-2005) produced 31 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for lost side. Spartak moved-up to fifth place. Dynamic BG at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Spartak are looking forward to face league’s leader Mega SM in Sremska Mitrovica in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dynamic BG will play at home against Vojvodina NS and is hoping to win this game.

Zitko Basket’s coach Lazar Vukoslavcevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. Konstantin Nis maintains twelfth position with 1-14 record. Newly promoted Zitko Basket dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Konstantin Nis will play against league’s second-placed Borac Cacak on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Zitko Basket will play against Sloboda U. (#11) in Uzice and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Worth to mention a quality performance of Bogoljub Markovic who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks. At the losing side Andrija Radojevic responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Mega SM (13-0) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Radnicki KG lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Mega SM will meet at home Spartak (#5) in the next round. Radnicki KG will play against Crvena Zvezda (#3) in Beograd and hope to secure a win.

There was no surprise in Sombor where 6th ranked Joker S. (7-9) was defeated by second ranked Borac Cacak (12-1) 93-88 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Pavle Nikolic (200-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and guard Djordje Curcic-M (194-2005) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Borac Cacak’s coach Milos Pejanovic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Matija Kustudic (-2004) responded with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and Jagos Becic (-2004) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Borac Cacak have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-1 record behind leader Mega SM. Newly promoted Joker S. dropped to the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Partizan BG. Borac Cacak will meet at home bottom-ranked Konstantin Nis (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Worth to mention a great performance of Vuk Kovijanic (-2004) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Mihajlo Gikic (-2004) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side center Viktor Mikic (210-2005) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and guard Savo Drezgic (187-2006) scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vojvodina NS maintains tenth position with 5-10 record. Crvena Zvezda outrebounded Sloboda U. 53-22 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sloboda U.’s players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Petar Avlijas (197-2005) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Vuk Drobnjakovic (185-2005) who added 14 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Crvena Zvezda players scored in double figures.
